ABOUT DH MINI STUDIO
My story
I fell in love with the miniature hobby in the late ‘90s/early 2000s when I was
introduced to Warhammer Fantasy and given a Lizardmen paint set for beginners. Before that, I had been painting plastic army men and cowboys at the kitchen table. But with minis, it was like something from another world was brought to life between my fingers.
In the beginning fantasy wargames were my thing. Even though the sci-fi aspects of Warhammer 40K were very tempting. I stuck with the fantasy worlds and later Lord of The Rings.
Years later after some breaks from painting and playing, I rediscovered the hobby with an adult's budget for supplies and a better understanding of what I could do differently to elevate my techniques.
Playing the games and learning all the rules has never been as important to me as the creative process of building, converting, and painting. I find inner peace when spending hours pushing pigments on the minis, and I want to offer my services to others who might enjoy the playing aspect of the hobby more than the painting part.
There are a lot of beautiful minis out there that I would love to have a go at. And with the possibility of 3D-printed minis too, my cabinetes are becoming more and more crammed. I see this as an opportunity to reach out and help others get their minis painted.

How can I help you?
BUILDING
Assembling your minis might be a task you would rather be without. Sometimes pieces of your mini needs to be painted individually before the figure can be assembled. If you wish, I will assemble the minis for you. You are of course welcome to assemble them yourself before the painting process.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Sometimes a mini needs special attention or might need something extra to make them pop on the tabletop. Maybe some custom terrain, a centrepiece, a diorama, a converted vehicle, or something completely different? My many years in the hobby have taught me a lot of useful techniques that I will put to use for you.
PAINTING
Based on your wishes and needs, I will work together with you to create the perfect colour scheme for your minis. I will keep you updated on the project to make sure everything is as you want. This will ensure that we can catch any discrepancies and quickly adjust accordingly.
ON-TIME
There are moments when you just need something at a specific time; for a tournament, an amicable game with friends, or a game day at the local hobby store. I strive for on-time delivery of your order to make sure your minis are ready for battle.
